Carina Cobras are always looking for volunteers to help the Club in various ways in addition to our amazing Coaches and Managers.

We are always looking for volunteers to help the Club in various ways:
- Coaches: We are always on the look out for Coaches and Assistant Coaches. Coaches receive a $75 discount off their child's fees (one discount per team coached).
- Team Managers: Each team needs a Team Manager to keep them organised
- Committee: Committee members hold different roles and have varying levels of commitment. These roles are ideal for parents or older players looking to get involved, drive change and shape the direction of our fantastic Club
- General/e-Volunteer: Helping electronically, email, communications, website graphics, etc. The ways to help are limitless.

Junior Coach - Expression of Interest
Carina Cobras is always on the look out for new coaches to support the growth of the club. We already have many of our older players (U14-Youth League) who assist by coaching our younger players across many age groups, these are our Junior Coaches.
The Junior Coach role at Cobras can be a great way to give back to the club and the game of basketball and share what you have learnt over your basketball journey.
Junior Coaches can be either an assistant coach to one of our more experienced coaches, or can take on their own team with support from the club as needed.
Junior coaches who are the main coach for a team play in their own age group fee free! (i.e no Carina Cobras fees are payable, or fees are refunded. Carina Cobras fees are currently $330 per season for boys or $220 per season for girls. Association & BQ fees still apply)

Team Managers
The role of Team Manager is simple, but vial, to the smooth running of the team during the season.
You will
- provide updates as to game time and location
- act as a contact when players will miss a game
- liaise with the Age Group Co-ordinator and/or arrange fill in players if necessary
- arranges a scoring roster for the parents of the team. (ALL PARENTS MUST SCORE on rotation (coaches’ family exempt).
